RB reveal Las Vegas Grand Prix glitter themed livery

RB has revealed its livery for the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix, taking inspiration from its sponsor’s Cash App Visa Glitter Card.

The blue and green livery with a glitter overlay will be glistening in the bright lights of Las Vegas as drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson look to build on impressive P7 and P9 finishes in Sao Paulo. It also marks the return to the city that hosted the VCARB01’s launch back in February.

The special livery was unveiled with the release of a short film featuring Entourage stars Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara documenting their drive through the desert from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

Special Suits and Team Kit

The two drivers and accompanying pit crew will be wearing bespoke racing suits and team kit during the race weekend. The team garage will also be adorned with the glitter design and fans will get a glimpse of the livery beforehand at Topgolf Las Vegas, where it will be on display at the driving range.

Peter Bayer, CEO, Visa Cash App RB said: “It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without a touch of glitter, and as the home of glitz, it only felt right to bring this livery to the Las Vegas race. It holds a special place in the team’s history as it’s where we launched VCARB earlier this year. Since then, creative collaboration with our partners has led to outstanding liveries beyond the norm, allowing us to disrupt the way we do things in Formula One, as we’ve seen in Miami and Singapore. I look forward to seeing the VCARB01 shimmering under the lights on track.”

2024 RB Liveries So Far

Miami

RB’s first one-off livery of the season was at the Miami Grand Prix in May. Car Chameleon, as it was known, was inspired by the Cash App Visa Chameleon Card and featured a rainbow pattern of colours. The livery was tailored to its environment and matched the vibrant colours in Miami, specifically the artsy Wynwood district.

Singapore

For the Singapore Grand Prix, RB mixed things up a little, going for a denim livery designed by the fashion brand Hugo.

This was F1’s first fashion inspired livery in over 30 years after F1 team Benetton donned the ‘united colors’ livery in the 1990s. The new livery was combined with bespoke racing suits and Hugo outfits for drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda over the course of the weekend.
