Foggy’s appearance forms part of a wider celebration of the Summer of ‘95
Four-time WorldSBK Champion Carl Fogarty will be honoured at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of the event’s Summer of ‘95 celebrations.
Thirty years ago, Foggy captured the second of his four world titles in a season where he won over half of the championship’s 24 races, wrapping up the title in Assen in September with five races to space. The 59-year-old will be reunited with his Ducati 916 championship-winning bike and take it up the hill across all four days of the event.
Fogarty will also get his iconic Goodwood balcony moment in front of Goodwood House, where he’ll be interviewed in front of hundreds of fans.
Carl Fogarty: “I’ve had such a great time at the Festival of Speed over the years, riding up the Hill on all sorts. I haven’t seen my 1995 Ducati 916 for a while, so I’m looking forward to being reunited with the bike across the weekend. It’s great that WorldSBK is getting a moment in the spotlight and fans can see the bikes up close in the paddocks before they take to the Hill.”
Over 40 bikes from the golden era of WorldSBK will also be present at the Festival of Speed, as well as several of Fogarty’s fellow riders from the 1990s and 2000s.
The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 July.
