The first race of the 2025 UK Ferrari Challenge Series is complete, and it had its ups and downs. In his latest diary entry, John shares it all.

Round 2 of the 2025 UK Ferrari Challenge Series took place in the UK, at Oulton Park. But with no practice and only two 40-minute test sessions, it was always going to be a challenge for John Marcar and the team.

Following testing at Silverstone, it’s finally time for John Marcar and Team Driven to go racing. The first round of the Ferrari Challenge UK was in, confusingly, Spain at the fearsome Navarra Circuit.

Round two of the 2025 UK Ferrari Challenge Series took place at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Oulton Park is a circuit renowned for its history, as well as its challenging aspects, including being very narrow, very bumpy, and designed for cars of the 1950s era.

It is set to be a scorching weekend of racing action in Kent for Driven’s John Marcar and his fellow 296 Challenge competitors.

The 3rd round of the UK Ferrari Challenge Series came with more than its fair share of hurdles, including heat, a scary moment with a tyre and an entirely new circuit to learn.

The 2.49-mile track is one of the oldest circuits still in operation in the UK and a favourite among drivers.
