As a team, John, Amy, and Miles interview some of the best voices and personalities in the automotive world. From journalists and writers to car designers and racing drivers, this podcast turns the wheel toward great conversations.

Jonny Smith joined John Marcar and Miles Lacey as our first-ever guest on the all-new Driven Podcast. John and Jonny started talking about sitting down for a podcast together in December 2020, and finally, after four years, it's happened.
In this episode, John and Miles work through Jonny's unique, bizarre and, at times, downright ridiculous career as a writer, a journalist and a television presenter before embarking on the work of digital media with his monumentally successful podcast Smith & Sniff and YouTube Channel The Late Brake Show.
Alex Kersten - AKA AutoAlex, YouTube Content Creator
Alex Kersten is a big name in the automotive content creation game, having been the face of Car Throttle for an entire decade. In April 2022, Alex shocked the automotive world by announcing his resignation from Car Throttle to start his own media brand, which we now know as AutoAlex.
In this podcast, John Marcar and Alex are reunited as old friends and work colleagues to talk through his career and story, along with Miles Lacey, who enjoyed his first encounter with Alex... It's fair to say that Alex and Miles got on like a house on fire (literally, a-house-that-is-on-fire!).

From the outside looking in, it would be easy to assume the company was founded with a multi-million-pound financial investment, which immediately got to work on the biggest, best and most exclusive cars in the world; the real story, though, is very humbling.
In this week's Podcast Episode, Topaz co-founder Nabil Naamo shares the story of how his now internationally famous company started as two brothers working out the back of a van washing cars at £10 per wash.

He spends his working life travelling the world to capture and create stories for readers of one of the most established car magazines globally and its YouTube channel. Perhaps unsurprisingly, as a result of his frequent adventures, Tom has an arsenal of superb stories to tell.
This week on The Driven Podcast, John Marcar and Amy Heynes sit down with Tom in his home to catch up on some of the most fun recent adventures and recap some of the times when things didn't quite go to plan.
Adrian Sellers & James Bannister - Royal Enfield Motorcycles
This week, it's all about the bikes (but not exclusively!), as Amy and John visited Royal Enfield's UK HQ in Leicestershire. Greeting us there and joining us for the podcast episode is designer and head of Custom and Motorsport, Adrian Sellers. Alongside Adrian is James Bannister. James heads up the global creative strategy department, ensuring (in his own words) that the brand stays relevant and does cool things!
This recording took place back in a cold and wintery February 2024 (hence the cold weather chat) but is relevant now as we have on test a brand new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 - a bike that Adrian led the design for.

This week, on the Driven Podcast, John Marcar and Miles Lacey visit CALLUM in Warwick and meet car design royalty Ian Callum CBE and Aleck Jones.
Ian Callum is likely to be a name that needs no introduction thanks to his frankly marvellous portfolio of car designs. Aleck Jones is the head of design for CALLUM working directly with Ian. Ian, Aleck, Miles and John discuss the CALLUM business and work through the many products, projects and creations that are now finding their way onto driveways, roads and inside houses, too.
Steve Soper & Toby Partridge - & The Return of a Legendary BMW M3
This week on The Driven Podcast, John Marcar obsesses over a very special racing car. The car in question is the 1992 winner of the Spa 24 Hours, The BMW Fina BASTOS M3, which the equally legendary Steve Soper drove.
Steve Soper is this week's guest alongside ex-business partner turned co-racing driver Toby Partridge to discuss the return and rebirth of such a special car. Steve, Toby, and John Marcar discuss the story behind the car, the iconic race that Steve won in 1992, and the plans for the car moving forward.
