Clarkson’s Farm returns for fourth series

First four episodes to land on Prime Video on May 23

The much anticipated fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm will return to Prime Video in May and sees the former Top Gear and The Grand Tour host navigating the challenges of being a pub landlord alongside regular farming duties at Diddly Squat.

The 64 year old purchased The Farmer’s Dog pub in Burford, Oxfordshire last year after attempts to open a Farm to Fork restaurant at his farm were thwarted by the local council. The pub’s grand re-opening in August attracted hundreds of customers, some of whom had queued for hours to try it.

The fourth series will detail Clarkson’s obstacles as a pub landlord, from derelict buildings to the classic government red tape that has been a constant thorn in his side since series one. On hand to help, as always, is Charlie Ireland - better known as ‘Cheerful Charlie’ - Clarkson’s land agent and advisor.

All change at the farm

Back at Diddly Squat Farm, things are a little light on the ground as Kaleb’s newfound stardom and success as a public speaker sees him away on a nationwide tour. With Clarkson’s partner Lisa working on a new product line, Jeremy is left to largely manage things on his own, although everyone’s favourite character Gerald is available to offer a helping hand.

The Lamborghini tractor is beginning to show its age, while new livestock on the farm includes a new bull, pig and goats. There are also new inheritance tax laws proposed by the government which lead to mass protests by farmers in London.

When are the episodes released?

The fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm follows the new trend of streaming services releasing their new shows in weekly batches. The schedule is detailed below:

23rd May - Episodes 1-4
30th May - Episodes 5-6
6th June - Episodes 7-8

Andy Wilman, who people will know from his work on Top Gear and The Grand Tour, returns as an executive producer, while production has already commenced on a fifth series.
