Pagani to return to shores of Lake Como with Huayra Epitome
Set to compete in “Concept Cars & Prototypes” category at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025
Pagani will return to the shores of Lake Como as part of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025 event.
The Italian manufacturer won with its Huayra Codalunga in the same category at the event two years ago and returns with its one-off client owned Huayra Epitome.
The Huayra Epitome will be on display to the public on Sunday, May 25, during the Public Day at Villa Erba, while the Pagani Imola will also be exhibited a short distance away at Villa del Grumello.
Huayra Epitome
Created in 2024, the Epitome - representing peak - is the first Huayra to be equipped with a manual transmission, with the Italian brand claiming it “represents the pinnacle of technology currently available for Pagani road-legal cars.” It was created as a one-off by Pagani’s Grandi Complicazioni division in tandem with its client, and is controlled by an Xtrac seven-speed transverse gearbox.
Powered by a Pagani V12 engine that delivers 852 bhp at 6,000 rpm with 1,100 Nm of torque, making it capable of going 217.5 mph.
In terms of styling, the front and rear bumpers, bonnet, vents and rear wing were given a redesign, although it still retains its pure Pagani-ness with that famous quad exhaust.
It is surely one of the finest Pagani examples ever produced.
Pagani Imola
Named after the racetrack it spent some of the 9,942 miles being fine tuned, the Pagani Imola was built in 2020 as a guinea pig to shape the brand’s future technological ideas for years to come. Built with a dry weight of 1246 kg, the Imola is powered by a Mercedes-AMG V12, delivering 816 bhp and 1,100Nm of torque.
The Imola was built with the same active aerodynamics system introduced by the Huayra, using four mobile winglets which immediately behave according to the driving circumstances.
Only five were ever built, with all being sold for €5 million plus VAT.
The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025 event takes place on the shores of Lake Como from 24-26 May and is organised by BMW Group Classic.
