The Grand Tour returns to Prime with four ‘best of’ episodes
The first episode - ‘The Not Very Grand Tour: The Power and the Glory’ - launches April 18th
Seven months after its final episode, and just when we had begun to recover from its emotional ending, The Grand Tour is back for four more episodes. How foolish we all look.
Okay, admittedly these are only a collection of the best moments from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May’s time at Amazon, but it's something of an unexpected treat for those who choose to binge The Grand Tour on a regular basis (guilty as charged).
The first of these four episodes is titled ‘The Not Very Grand Tour: The Power and the Glory’ and celebrates the internal combustion engine. Clips from previous episodes include the hypercar holy trinity, driving muscle cars in Detroit and the world’s craziest tank.
Three more episodes to come
Three more The Grand Tour specials, titled The Grand-ish Tour, will be released later this year and in 2026.
The trio’s adventures in California, Morocco, Colorado and Scandinavia are relived in The Grand-ish Tour: A Trip Down Memory Lane, before the cast looks back at their time building a car to cross Mongolia, Clarkson’s homemade SUV and epic drag races in The Grand-ish Tour: A Bit Further Down Memory Lane.
The final final episode - The Grand-ish Tour: Completely Lost Down Memory Lane - features explosions, waxwork Nigel Mansell, French hatchback racing, Italian classics and a farewell to an old friend.
How to watch
The Not Very Grand Tour: The Power and the Glory launches on Prime Video on April 18th.
