Two ‘Special’ Gordon Murray cars to be revealed at Monterey Car Week

Public debut for the first two models from the new Gordon Murray Special Vehicles division

Two new Gordon Murray cars will be unveiled to the world on August 15 as part of Monterey Car Week.

The two cars are the first vehicles from the Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) division, with one being a bespoke customer commission. Both will remain under wraps until their unveiling at The Quail in California, although they promise to embody the Gordon Murray ethos of ‘lightweight and engineering art design’.

The GMSV division will create ‘ultra-low volume’ vehicles across three categories. Bespoke will focus on commissions based on GMA production vehicles. Heritage models will be continuation or reimagined models based on past Gordon Murray designs. Special Vehicles will be entirely new commissions, not based on an existing model or design.

Phillip Lee, Gordon Murray Group CEO: “We are excited to offer customers the opportunity to create the bespoke supercar of their dreams with the GMSV design and engineering teams. We’re also enthusiastic to show the world’s automotive fans our most unique expressions of the Gordon Murray Automotive ethos through GMSV.”
