How to watch the 2025 Ferrari Challenge UK

The season begins this weekend in Navarra, Spain

Those of you who regularly listen to our podcast, watch our YouTube channel, or read our written content will be familiar with the sound, sight, and words of Driven’s Editor-in-Chief, John Marcar.

As you may or may not already know, John has been given the chance of a lifetime to put away his podcast mic (for a bit), don his racing suit and compete in the 2025 Ferrari Challenge UK Series, where he’ll be getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari 296 Challenge owned by Phil Hands, CEO of Paramex Limited, Driven’s parent company.

Those of you who have been following his journey so far will have seen the car’s transformation into its Driven livery, the acquisition of a racing license and John’s day of testing at Silverstone with his driving tutor and podcast co-host Miles Lacey, where he got to grips with the 296 Challenge and its intricacies.

Following another week of testing at the Circuito de Navarra in Spain, John now returns to the track for the first race of the season. It is the first time that the Ferrari UK Challenge has come to Navarra in what will be the series’ 7th season in existence. A grid of 20 drivers (9 of whom are competing in the Ferrari Challenge for the first time) will take to the track in Spain and will be split across two different race classes: the Trofeo Pirelli and the Coppa Shell.

The Weekend Schedule

The race weekend begins on Friday with a day’s testing. On Saturday morning, a free practice and qualifying session will take place before the first race begins at 3:30pm.

On Sunday, another morning qualifying session will be followed by the second and final race of the weekend, starting at 2:30pm. Both races will be in the 30 minutes plus one lap format.
