Leapmotor encourage Brits to take the ‘leap’ into EV ownership with bungee jump showroom
Pop-up showroom in Coram’s Fields, London offers 100 free jumps
If you’re not keen on heights, then perhaps this story isn’t for you.
However, if you’re a thrillseeker looking to take the plunge into EV ownership, then Leapmotor’s pop-up showroom in London is the place to be this week for a unique electric car shopping experience.
Leapmotor - a relatively new company which launched earlier this year in partnership with Stellantis - is encouraging British people to quite literally take the leap into EV ownership with a one-of-a-kind car showroom that offers free bungee jumps while browsing for an electric car.
Potential customers can head down to Leapmotor’s pop-up premises in Coram’s Fields, central London between 10am and 5pm, starting on Wednesday 25th June. Up to 100 free jumps from a 160ft crane - think five double-decker buses stacked on top of one another - will be available on a first come, first served basis, where you’ll be able to see panoramic views of London landmarks like The Shard and BT Tower.
What is in Leapmotor’s range?
Having only launched in early 2025, Leapmotor’s range is comprised of just two models - the T03 and C10 - both of which will be on display at the pop-up showroom in London. Driven’s Alex Goy was able to drive both in February and you can read his opinions on each below.
The T03 is a compact city hatchback capable of 165 miles of range and priced at £15,995. It comes with an array of technology as standard, including a 10.1-inch central infotainment touchscreen, keyless start, a 42-inch panoramic sunroof, climate control, an 8-inch LCD instrument cluster, rear view camera, 15-inch alloy wheels, heated electric mirrors and all-round electric windows.

The Leapmotor C10 is a large, family-focused SUV priced at £36,500 and comes with up to 263 miles of range. As standard, you’ll get electrically powered, heated and cooled front seats, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround view camera, heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker premium hi-fi, a 14.6-inch HD central touchscreen and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster.

“There’s nothing scary about going electric”
Damien Dally, Managing Director, Leapmotor UK, said: “Leapmotor is on a mission to be the best value EV brand in the UK and make electric driving accessible to everyone.
“It’s clear many drivers are still nervous about making the switch to electric, but we believe our offering, highly specified, affordable electric cars jammed-packed with technology, are the perfect first step into electric.
“As for our pop-up showroom, a bungee jump can feel daunting for a lot of people, but sometimes taking a leap out of your comfort zone is exactly what's needed. For some, the idea of switching to electric can feel the same way at first, but unlike a bungee jump, there’s nothing scary about going electric.”
Will this stunt be enough to convince the naysayers? As someone slightly terrified of heights, I, for one, will be keeping my feet firmly on the ground and visiting one of Leapmotor’s other 46 UK retailers instead.
