You could win a Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 via Dave Day 2025 raffle
The £10,000 bike can be won for the price of a £10 raffle ticket
It’s been a little over a year since the passing of Dave Myres, one half of the Hairy Bikers.
Combining a passion for broadcasting, culinary activities and, more importantly, all things motorcycles, Myres was part of one of the most recognisable duos on television with hundreds of programme credits to his name.
Now, an opportunity has arisen to own one of Myre’s motorbikes, a Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. The bike is being auctioned online for charity as part of Dave Day 2025, with all proceeds going to two Dave Day charities, NSPCC Childline and CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
The bike
This Royal Enfield Shotgun 650’s petrol tank and fenders have been finished in a Hawaii style paint job to match the colourful shirts Dave was known for wearing throughout his career.
A custom Alcantara seat with the Royal Enfield logo and finished nicely with contrast stitch embroidery and the date of June 21st 2025 - the day on which Dave Day will take place.
During its life, the Shotgun 650 has been fitted with upgrades worth several hundred pounds. These include Royal Enfield bar end mirrors, a Royal Enfield black oil filler cap and Royal Enfield LED indicators.
An added bonus
If the bike on its own wasn’t enough to tempt you into buying a raffle ticket, then how about the addition of a custom painted Merlin Motorcycles Blackbird helmet? Yes, it matches the bike, of course.
As a package, the bike and helmet together are worth close to £10,000.
How to enter
Those interested in entering the raffle are encouraged to buy a £10 ticket here. You’ll have to be quick, as the opportunity to buy a ticket will close on Saturday 21 June at around 6:30pm GMT. All proceeds will go to the two Dave Day charities, NSPCC Childline and CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
